How click and drop works?
Send a parcel right now without registering, and drop it in a parcel postbox, postbox, Royal Mail Customer Service Point (CSP), or Post Office® branch. If you have a few minutes, set up a Click & Drop account to get lower prices, keep track of your shipping, and print postage labels for free at a CSP.
Where do I drop Click and drop?
If you’ve bought online postage using Click & Drop, the Royal Mail App, or have franked mail to send, you can drop these items off at your nearest Customer Service Point (CSP). Please remember to bring any relevant paperwork. You can also post UK mail which already has the right postage on it .
How do I click and drop Royal Mail?
Go to the Click & Drop website and select ‘Sign Up’ in the ‘Regularly selling through online stores’ panel. Enter your personal details and select ‘I’m a business customer and will use my Royal Mail OBA account to pay for labels’, then enter your account number and posting location number.

This will typically be between 9am and 3pm in urban and suburban areas on Monday to Friday, and no earlier than 7am on a Saturday. There will always be a later collection post box (after 4pm) within a mile of a ‘Collection on Delivery’ box.
How often are post boxes emptied?
Half of all post boxes are to be emptied just once a day as the Royal Mail seeks to cut costs. Late collections will be axed for 45,000 to 50,000 post boxes as postmen and women are instructed to empty them as they carry out their deliveries.
Can you put a small package in the post box?
If your package is less than one-half inch thick and weighs less than 10 oz, you may use postage stamps and do one of the following: Put it in your mailbox for carrier pickup. Drop it in a blue collection box or Post Office lobby mail slot. Request a free pickup.
Can I send small items in an envelope?
First Class Mail is the most popular and economical way to send items through USPS. You can send standard postcards, letters and large envelopes and small packages up to 15.99 ounces using First Class Mail.
Can I drop small flat rate box in mailbox?
If it is over 13 ozs you must bring it to a Post Office and hand it to an employee directly. But because it is a small flat rate box, if it is noticeably less than 13 ozs then, yes, you can put in your mailbox for the carrier to take.
Can I put a small package in a blue mailbox?
Yes, you are allowed to drop packages in the blue mailboxes as long as you already paid for the postage (i.e. bought postage through Amazon, PayPal, Stamps.com, etc.). Sometimes it is more convenient to do that. It’s only stamped packages over a certain weight (14 ounces, maybe) that you cannot just drop into the bin.
Can you put a flat rate envelope in a blue box?
Asked someone to bring a flat rate envelope to the USPS location but they dropped it in the blue mailbox instead. Will USPS process it still? As long as it’s got the prepaid label on it you’re fine.
Can I put a prepaid label on a flat rate box?
Different sizes of flat rate boxes have different postage requirements. If you print a shipping label for a small flat rate box, the weight of the item does not matter as long as it fits into the small flat rate box without altering the size and shape of the box.
Can I drop Priority Envelope in mailbox?
If your packages have domestic shipping labels, you can drop them off at USPS collection locations without waiting in line. If the packages fit, you may drop them off at blue collection mailboxes and Post Office mail drop slots. Some Post Offices may also have a designated spot on the counter for prepaid packages.
