What’s the biggest size you can cut with a Cricut?
If you are using a 12 inch square cutting mat, the largest you can cut is 11.5 inches squared. If you are using a 12 inch by 24 inch cutting mat then the largest you can cut is 11.5 inches by 23.5 inches. If you are wanting to cut larger than these options then you simply must cut your design.

When Design Space tells you that the “Printable Image is too large,” this means that the image you are trying to cut is set to Print Then Cut, but the image exceeds the Print Then Cut size limitations. Why is my Cricut Project incompatible?
The error says “The project was created using an incompatible template and cannot be cut/printed on this machine”. The most likely reason for this error is that you are trying to cut/print to a Cricut that has a different size mat than the one you created your design on.
How do I change my Cricut mat size?
Change the material size by clicking on the Material drop-down menu at the bottom of the mat preview window. Tip: If the entire project is going to be cut with iron-on, you will need to mirror each mat.
