How do I create a WSU account?
How to set up your WSU email account:
- Go to the website office365.wsu.edu.
- Login on the WSU Sign In Page with your Network ID and Password (same as myWSU Login)
- On the Office 365 Landing Page, click the ‘Mail’ Icon.
- The first time you access this, it will ask you to set your time zone.

How much does it cost to apply to WSU?
WSU does not require an admission essay, but may request information from students on an as-needed basis. The application fee remains $50 and as always, students with financial need may request a fee waiver. In terms of class days, an entire school year is usually 150 class days (but may be as many as 180 days). A semester (half the year) is about 75 class days. At 5 days per week that is about 15 weeks of school per semester.

Can you finish college in less than 4 years?
Completing a 4-year degree course in four years sounds simple, but improper scheduling might lead many students to go off track. Poor understanding of requirements, too light of cause loads, failed classes, and unavailable required courses can cause setbacks in a student’s degree path.
Is 4 classes too much in college?

How many credit hours are too many?
Generally, one class can last anywhere from 1 1/2 hours to 3 hours unlike a 45 minutes to a 1 hour high school class. Packing on too many classes in a semester can exhaust and stress you out to the point of illness. That’s why advisors suggest taking 12 to 15 credit hours per semester.
Is 12 credit hours a lot?
Full-time course load: A 12-credit hour load is the minimum required to be classified as a full-time student and may be necessary for students to receive financial aid benefits. Taking only 12 hours per semester would require additional classes (summer, for example) for students wishing to graduate in 4 years.
How long is 36 credit hours in college?
If you are enrolled as a full-time student in a 36-credit degree program and you are taking 12 credits per semester, you can expect to complete your degree in three semesters. Students studying part-time, earning only eight credits per semester to start, would be earning their degree for over four semesters.
