How hard is it to get into Masters programs?
Even with the same acceptance rate as undergrad schools, grad schools are still harder to get into, if only for the fact that you’re competing with the cream of the crop. And this isn’t even taking into account that some programs are a lot more competitive than undergraduate schools.
How many masters should I apply to?
There are no rules against applying to more than one university for Masters study. In fact, it can be a smart move. However, limit your applications to two or three courses – any more than five is unnecessary, and will potentially risk the overall quality of your applications.
Can I defer my university offer after accepting?
