What is the QuestBridge application?
QuestBridge’s National College Match is a college scholarship application process that helps outstanding low-income high school seniors gain admission and full four-year scholarships to the nation’s most selective colleges.
What are the requirements for QuestBridge?
Financial Qualification: Household income is less than $65,000 a year, and often less for a typical family of four, with minimal assets. Often eligible for free or reduced-price lunch.
Is QuestBridge hard to get into?
How many Questbridge college match applicants become finalists/match with colleges? In 2016, about 16,000 students applied, 6000 of which became finalists. About 675 were matched out of that number. It’s a very selective process, more so than even some of the best colleges out there.
Does QuestBridge help chances?
Yes, I think Questbridge does give you a better acceptance chance, especially if you decide to do College Match and your EFC is $0. You must get your application submitted by September, and College Match is done a week before early decisions at selective colleges.
What time do QuestBridge decisions come out?
All applicants will be notified if they have been selected as Finalists on October 21, 2020. Finalists who rank schools for the Match will be notified of their Match results on December 1, 2020. Decisions will be available to view via your Application Management page.

We are looking for high school seniors who have shown outstanding academic ability despite financial challenges. We take a holistic approach to reviewing applications, and we do not have absolute criteria or cut-offs for GPA, standardized test scores, income, or other factors.
