SCHOOL holidays, birthday parties and having someone else cook your meals, are among the things adults miss most from their childhoods, a study has found. A poll of 2,000 adults revealed 67 per cent yearn for their younger years with four in 10 admitting they consider them to be the best time of their lives.
What does it mean if you miss your childhood?
You haven’t learned to evolve and grow your relationships. You may be missing your childhood memories because you have not learned how to grow and evolve your relationships as you advance through life. You’re not going to have the same relationship you had as a child with your parents that you do as an adult.

Looking back at my life, there are tons of things that I miss about my childhood that I had never thought were a big deal at the time. When we were young, our biggest job was to be a kid. We had fun, we met some our friends that we still know to this day, we started making habits that we still have today.

As a parent my hopes and aspirations for my children included them: being healthy and happy. having skills and confidence to explore and venture out into the world to play and learn.
Why do we dream less as we get older?
As you get older your brain no longer needs to make connections because you understand more and more of your environment and you also have a better understanding of problems and how to solve them. That being said, dreams become obsolete, and therefore the brain stops producing them.
