Why do schools kill creativity?

Or rather we get educated out of it”. “True creativity” he argues, “is based on knowledge which in turn is based on literacy”.
Do schools limit creativity?
Art and publication classes allow students to demonstrate their creativity by developing works of art and public interest. There are many places in school where creativity is not only encouraged but expected. The school system does not limit creativity but in fact help inspire it.

Do TED speakers get paid?
What do you pay speakers? TED does not pay speakers. We do, of course, cover travel costs and provide excellent hotel accommodation — as well as a covetable pass to all five days of TED. Most speakers stay for the whole conference, soaking up the talks and connecting with other attendees.
