Why is AP chemistry so hard?
It is hard because it requires you to have a strong base chemistry knowledge and an average math background, your math will develop so much through this course. I think the thing that makes this class hard is the mixed style of memorization and math skills needed.

AP Lang is a difficult course, regardless of how good you are at English. Lots of writing (not too bad; you shouldn’t be in an AP humanity sort of class if you’re afraid of writing). I got a 4 on the test despite getting a 600 for the critical reading and writing section of the SAT. I think you’ll be fine.

The prerequisite to get into the course was extremely challenging, so most of the students in the course could basically already write pretty well. I never had to do any long extended papers (all essays were in class).
