Is Peardeck free for students?
Students log into the presentation with unique access codes and interact with questions while teachers monitor student and whole-class progress. Pear Deck is a freemium service; teachers and schools can access a wide array of tools and resources for free or opt to subscribe to a premium account.
Can you grade a pear deck?
When you make a quiz with clear correct and incorrect answers, you can grade it automatically and send email reports to students. When you are done with the Quiz, you can click “END” on the navigations bar. Back at your Pear Deck Home, you can export the answers to a spreadsheet.
Can NearPod be used asynchronous?
NearPod: NearPod isn’t just for students. You can also use it with your faculty. You can embed polls, questions, and written responses into NearPod lessons. (While FlipGrid, Padlet, and VoiceThread can be used asynchronously for free, Nearpod is a paid service if it is used asynchronously.)
Can you use Nearpod with zoom?
With the Zoom integration, you can quickly create a Zoom meeting from within your Live Participation Nearpod! Once students enter the Nearpod code, they will then see a link to easily join your Zoom meeting.

Student-Paced Nearpod Lessons give the students power to move through the lesson at their own pace without it needing to be driven by the teacher. Any lesson you can use in Nearpod can be presented Live or Student-Paced.

Nearpod has been working on something new just for you. Users can now adjust the length of student-paced CODEs for up to 365 days. Extend the student-paced CODE until the end of the school year, so your students always know what’s coming next.
Can two teachers run a Nearpod?
Teachers can now maintain multiple sessions of the same lesson simultaneously. Now, users with a gold edition who teach multiple periods of the same subject can resume any Nearpod session easily.
How many students can join a Nearpod lesson of a free user?
Every free user gets up to 50 MBs of space, and can host up to 30 students per session.
Can you add a co teacher to Nearpod?
With a little planning, you and a colleague can be co-teaching with Nearpod in no time. You should both be on the same page so planning ahead and planning together is important. Anytime you use educational technology the tech should support the standards being taught and add something to the lesson.
Does Nearpod save student progress?
Thanks for reaching out to Nearpod! The work should automatically save. To resume the lesson, students should enter the same lesson code and input the same name.
Can you write on Nearpod slides?
When facilitating a Live Nearpod lesson, teachers can annotate on content slides during the session. All teachers have access to open a Whiteboard during their lesson. Learn more about our license types here. This feature works when both teachers and students are using Nearpod in a web browser.
Can students write on Nearpod slides?
This feature allows students to draw, highlight, insert pictures, and insert text, all on top of each other. Teachers can also include a background image for students to draw, write, or highlight on top of.
How do I use Nearpod time to climb?
Convert your Nearpod quizes! You can convert your existing quizzes into Time to Climb activities. Simply click to edit your lesson, select the quiz you’d like to convert, click “Convert to Time to Climb” at the top right-hand corner, and you’re all set!
