While Course Hero does not offer a free trial to explore the entire platform, there are ways you can unblur (unlock) documents and use Course Hero for free. You can access uploaded documents for free—and help others learn—when you upload your own original study materials and documents.
Do I have to pay for Course Hero?
Course Hero offers a Basic (free) Membership as well as a paid Premier Membership. All members also have the ability to earn Unlocks and Questions by contributing their own study documents to Course Hero’s library; you can earn 5 Unlocks or 3 Questions (up to 9) for every 10 study documents submitted.
How many unlocks do I have left Course Hero?
Your Unlock and Question balances will be displayed on the bottom left of the navigation panel in your account dashboard. If you earned Unlocks, your available earned Unlock balance will be viewable on your My Rewards dashboard under Available Earned Unlocks.
