How do you solve a cengage?
Cengage is a good and one of the most referred book for JEE. Don’t attempt /try all the questions but atleast do half of the questions of each chapter. Do odd number questions or even numbered questions. It depends on you.
Is cengage sufficient for JEE?
Cengage Series- This is an equally good series. I haven’t used it personally, but I heard it is good. You can use it as an alternative to Arihant(avoid using both, it will confuse you), if you r teachers/ friends discuss it, or you like it.

It is a very basic bok, mainly for CBSE related study, and not at all meant for study of JEE. For problems, except the subjective types in Cengage, all problems are pretty good for JEE Main level, especially the single correct type, the best part being, there are a plenty of them!

Arihant has a greater focus on theory and examples and the variety and the mix of questions is not that much. whereas cengage has a really good mix and all types of questions. the number of errors in cengage is lesser compared to arihant and you will have solution hints behind cengage which are better than arihant.
