Who owns the web?
No one actually owns the Internet, and no single person or organization controls the Internet in its entirety. The Internet is more of a concept than an actual tangible entity, and it relies on a physical infrastructure that connects networks to other networks.
What is the Internet physically?
Physical Internet is not something on the cloud, but rather a structure made of physical objects: routers, cables, antennas, internet exchange points and data centers are just some of the elements that make this communication possible.

How do we get internet?
Your internet connection doesn’t go straight out into the internet; it has to arrive at your ISP first. To do this, you need to be connected to your ISP in some way. A wired connection is the most common method. This is where a cable transfers data from your router all the way to your ISP.
Can I be my own ISP?
Yes, you can create your own internet service provider. Plenty of people have undertaken this task, especially in rural or remote areas where high-speed internet is hard to come by, such as areas without cable or phone lines.
Does Internet come from space?
Satellite internet is wireless internet beamed down from satellites orbiting the Earth. It’s a lot different from land-based internet services like cable or DSL, which transmit data through wires. In the near future, Starlink (from SpaceX) and Project Kuiper (from Amazon) will also offer satellite internet service.
