How many calls do paramedics get a day?
I average about 15 calls in a 24hr shift, and have run as many as 21. Rural 48’s, it gets weird. I have done shifts with 2 calls, I have done shifts where I was on 26 call, and calls average 1-1 1/2 hours including transport to and back to base from the hospital.
