What citation style do engineers use?
There is only one acceptable style and format for citing references in Mechanical Engineering Department laboratory report. That style and format is known as the Author-Date format, and is very similar to the American Psychological Association (APA) citation format.

If you’re over 18 it is unlikely… if anything they would have arrested you or given you a citation. They don’t just go around calling people’s parents unless you were a minor…
Can police search a minor without parental consent?
Generally, any item that is considered property of the school can be searched without letting the student or the parent know. School staff can also give permission to the police to look in your locker or desk, even though you use it.
