Is the AP seminar exam hard?
The exam is not difficult at all but it is more time intensive than most tests because it requires an essay written and presentation given throughout the year. The rest of the exam is basically a synthesis essay (if you have taken AP Lang it’ll be a walk in the park/likewise if you are a good writer).
Do colleges like AP seminar?

In AP Seminar, students are assessed on 2 performance tasks completed during the school year and a 2-hour end-of-course written exam administered in May. In AP Research, students are assessed on a 4,000–5,000 word academic paper, and presentation and oral defense of their research. There is no exam administered in May

Can I cancel my AP exam 2021?
Students may cancel AP exams for a refund of the amount paid for the May 2021 exam. Late fees are not refundable. Refunds will not be issued until after the May 2021 exams conclude and AP test coordinators have processed the final cancellation list. It may take up to 2-3 weeks to process and issue refunds.

AP courses can be taken without taking the exam, and vice versa. If your child wants the possible college credit or score result without taking a course, then take the exam.

The College Board has designated late testing dates for AP exams. If you can’t take it the first go-round, you’ll take it on that test’s designated make-up day. This is so that students who take late AP exams won’t be able to get any information on the exam content from their classmates
