Can I use sublimation ink on regular paper?

No. The sublimation paper can only be used with the sublimation ink and the sublimation printer. When for transfer ,It can also only be used with the heat press machine. The normal inkjet printer must not use the sublimation ink so of course the sublimation paper can not use with it.

Can you sublimate with regular ink?

You must completely flush the system. Reason being the color and chemical make up of the inks are not the same. So if you use regular ink and then put in sublimation your prints will come out wrong and the ink obviously doesnt bond to the substrate so you will make a mess.
