What is a luminous source?
Luminous sources are objects that emit their own light, and luminosity is the amount of light that a luminous source provides. Objects that do not emit their own light are non-luminous, and we are only able to see them when the light from a luminous object reflects off of the non-luminous object and into our eyes.
