How do the Claremont colleges work?
The Claremont Colleges include five undergraduate and two graduate campuses. Although the colleges exist as independent entities, students who are admitted to one of the seven schools can take classes at any of the other six. In total, Claremont students can choose from around 2,500 different courses.

Is Claremont McKenna test optional?
CMC has extended our interim test-optional policy for first-year applicants applying for fall 2022 admission. This means that first-year applicants will not be required to submit ACT or SAT scores with their application to be considered for admission.

They assign interviews based on how many alumni your area has- if you get one, it means there was enough availability to offer you one. That is all. It means you got an interview, no more, no less.

As far as I can remember, none of the colleges I applied to accepted resumes. The CommonApp/Coalition App essentially serves the same purpose in a standardized format. Also, please do not bring resumes to Stanford alumni interviews, if offered one.

Should I apply REA to Stanford?
If you are not 100% set on Stanford, though, applying REA means giving up your opportunity to apply ED to a school that does give preference to early applicants. It is only something you should do if you are an academically competitive applicant, and you are sure that Stanford is your absolute first choice.
