Bluestar ends up punishing Firepaw, for feeding Yellowfang, a rogue, before his Clan, by making him take care of Yellowfang while ThunderClan kept her prisoner. During their return, they are attacked by rats, and Bluestar loses a life and tells Tigerclaw that she lost her fifth life.
