Currently in Belgium and it sounds like 90% Dutch however with a strange “G” sound that sounds like it’s coming from the top of the mouth (if you can even imagine that). It’s not similar at all to French in my view. Bear in mind I speak neither French nor Flemish however I can always tell them apart by sound.
