Among the periodical publications for free offered by the INE (National Statistics Institute), we can find Women and men in Spain, in collaboration with the Women’s Institute and other agencies.The purpose of this publication is to offer, from a gender perspective, a selection of the most relevant indicators at the current time to analyze the situation of men and women, in certain areas of social and economic as education, employment, wages and social inclusion, health, science and technology, etc
The publication has been organized into eight main topics that contain that chips associated with different indicators. Each tab is independent from the rest and consists of: introduction, definitions, commentary, sources and a section of further information in the provided links of interest. Each indicator has a selection of tables that the user can download in Excel or PC-axis and a graph. Apart from the option to download the tables and the access to information sources the user can edit the content of each indicator in a PDF file. The objective of the INE to incorporate these improvements is to enhance the usability of the statistical data, by means of a dynamic publishing, the more attractive and useful.
From the year 2012 will not be the update of the publication in set on a particular date, but shall be individually updated each of the chapters as they become available, of the publication of the relevant sources of information. The date of the last update of the various chapters contained in each one of them.
