Good news — they are indeed vegan! Swizzel have updated the recipe in recent years, making Refreshers sweets (in all its different forms and flavurs) are now vegan friendly.

Glucose Syrup, Sugar, Vegetable Oil (palm, Palm Kernel), Acidity Regulator: Citric Acid; Stearic Acid, Modified Starch, Flavourings, Lysed Soya Protein, Emulsifier: Glycerol Mono Stearate; Anti-caking Agent: Magnesium Carbonate; Magnesium Stearate, Colour: Lutein.
Are lemon refreshers vegetarian?

Is Haribo vegan?
Haribo Tangfastics sweets are not suitable for vegans or vegetarians because they contain gelatine which is derived from the skin, bones, tendons and ligaments of pigs. They are also not halal.
