How do you make a non edible gingerbread house?
Non-Edible Gingerbread Houses
- Wooden birdhouse.
- 12 wood circles (approximately 1-inch)
- Small embellishments such as plastic candy, candy canes, gingerbread men, colorful beads or garlands, etc (I found a bunch at Hobby Lobby by the Christmas trees)
- Paint brushes.
- Collage Clay (white)
- 5 mini craft sticks.
- Paint Palette.
Is decorative cinnamon edible?
The craft store cinnamon sticks are to be used for crafting, not eating. They are not necessarily food safe. Some of the packaging states that the craft sticks are not for human consumption. They may be sprayed to prevent molding or have added fragrance designed especially for potpourri mixtures.
