So while under regular duty cycles, a full air compressor is standard, but during extended non-use, an air compressor should be drained and deactivated.

Can you use an air compressor to breathe underwater?
Yes, tubing. As you may have surmised from the cover photo, I’ll be focusing mostly on hookah diving. The compressed air is supplied not by a scuba tank but by a surface based air compressor. Gas powered ones exist but add a layer of complexity with respect to keeping fumes out of your air, so I prefer electric ones.
