What is the plan ACT score?
Your scores are between 1 (the lowest score you can receive) and 32 (the highest score you can receive). ACT Plan takes the number of questions you got right on each test and translates it into a number between 1 and 32 (called a “scale score”). Just like grades, your scores tell you how well you did on each test.
Should I take the ACT in 10th grade?

A student who is more comfortable with charts, graphs, and up-front data might do better on the ACT. So, while a student might feel that one is harder than the other, it’s not because the SAT is inherently more difficult than the ACT, it’s due to where that particular student’s talents lie.
Is it harder to get a 36 or a 1600?
Getting a 1600 on the SAT is harder than getting a 36 on the ACT. To get a perfect 1600 on the SAT, one has to get a perfect 800 on each of the two SAT sections. To get a perfect 36 on the ACT, in contrast, one has to get a score that can be rounded up to 36. For instance, 35.5 is equivalent to 36.
Do colleges care if you take ACT or SAT?
Short answer: there’s no preference. A common myth is that elite colleges prefer the SAT over the ACT.
