How are poly chokes attached?
Poly Chokes were threaded internally and were supplied with a threaded sleeve that could be silver soldered to the barrel or the barrel could be threaded to accept the choke. Never saw one that was pressed on.
Are Poly chokes any good?
Even if it was free, I could never get over the look of the Poly Choke. I have had several over the past. In my experience they work well and can throw very nice patterns. They don’t bother me as I’m not concentrating on the barrel anyway when I shoot.
