Do deer remember you?
Deer you regularly meet on morning walks will quickly learn to spot humans who don’t bother them and those who give them a bad time. They first recognize you at a distance when they see you, then verify your smell as you get closer, while listening all the time.
Will deer come back after blowing?
Spooked deer will return to their bedding area, but when they return depends on how much the intrusion frightened them. Even deer that blow from a site after seeing and smelling a threat might tolerate intrusion, but it might be awhile before they return.
Do deer know they are being hunted?

Deer become accustomed to the sights, smells and sounds around them. If a farmer is plowing on a tractor, the deer know those sounds and smells don’t threaten him. But if you pull up in a four wheeler near where that deer is bedding or feeding, the deer quickly will move away from you.
What will a wounded buck do?
Wounded deer often do that, particularly if they know they’re being followed. They will walk back along their trail, looking to see if you are in pursuit. Hard-to-follow trails that suddenly stop cold might indicate the blood has ended.
Will a deer die if shot low?
The lung-shot deer usually runs only 100-150 yards. There are cases where heart-shot deer have traveled up to 200 yards, but this usually occurs if the arrow only nicks or slices the heart. An arrow that hits low, just behind the front leg at the brisket, could nick the heart and miss the lungs entirely.

Is a neck shot on a deer good with a bow?
Way too much room for error to purposly shoot a deer in the neck with a bow IMO. If you hit the spine it will drop right there, if you catch the esophogus it might live for hours or days and then die, if you hit the artery it may run 100 yards and die, if you hit muscle it may live or it may die a week later…etc.
Will an arrow to the neck kill a deer?
This is not to say that some hunters can’t kill a deer with a straight front, or front-quartering shot, because they can and do. An arrow straight into the small spot at the top of the chest and base of the neck will kill the deer, but it might not produce an exit wound.
Where do you shoot a deer at an angle?
