Baby food is safe for a hermit crab to eat. They don’t like to eat the same thing too often. Baby food is a surprising addition to a hermit crab’s diet, but it can provide a whole host of health benefits.

What do you feed baby hermit crabs?

1. crackers (no or low salt)
2. unsweetened cereals.
3. plain rice cakes.
4. popcorn (plain, air popped, can be given occasionally)
5. cooked eggs, meats and seafood (in moderation)
6. freeze dried shrimp and plankton (found in the fish food section at the pet store)
