How long can Crabs stay on land?
If a fully-aquatic crab gets brought onto land, it can breathe using the method we described. But this won’t work forever, even if they keep their gills moist. Some species can last as long as a week out of water, but for most I wouldn’t count on more than 1 or 2 days.
