Procedure

  1. Park your Honda Civic on level ground.
  2. Open the hood and disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  3. Wait 15 minutes.
  4. Remove the access panel on the bottom of the steering wheel and disconnect the airbag wires.
  5. Loosen the airbag bolts on the side of the steering wheel.
  6. Remove the airbag from the steering wheel.
