How do you treat black fly bites?

Put a cool compress or ice cube over the bite to reduce swelling….Apply any one of the following to the bite area:

1. Benadryl ointment.
2. Baking soda and water, mixed into a paste.
3. Calamine lotion.
4. Hydrocortisone anti-itch cream such as Gold Bond.
5. Rubbing alcohol.
6. Witch hazel.
7. Apple cider vinegar.
