Can you graduate high school if you fail math?
Most (not all) states require four math credits to get a diploma. You will not get a credit for a failed math class. To make up for this you can either take summer school (if your district offers it,) or you can sign up for an online class (which I would recommend.)

Can I still pass a class if I fail the midterm?
Yes there is hope. Usually a midterm counts 20% of you overall grade. So as long as you keep your grade up and do well on the final you will be ok. Depends on how much it is weighted, how many other grades you have and what those other grades are.
What happens if you fail the class but pass the final?
If you fail a class but pass the final (or vice versa), there is no proof that you have learned. You could have crammed for the test. You could have cheated. You may have actually turned things around and demonstrated knowledge.

Companies that do care about GPA and transcript will generally ask for them first, since it would not be a good use of anyone’s time to interview someone and then reject them based on GPA. Nobody cares about your grades after you’ve held one job.
