Can you move tee-markers?
Because moving tee-markers can have a significant effect on the competition, they should not be moved and, if they are moved, they should be replaced. How wide should tee-markers be?
The R&A recommends that tee-markers are positioned six or seven yards width apart (seven tends to be for par 3s). If the tee-markers are much farther apart, it increases the area of damage and also increases the likelihood that a player may tee up in front of the tee-markers.

Can you tee off without a tee?
You don’t have to actually use a tee on the tee. You can chip up the ground to make a makeshift tee, or can just hit the ball off of the grass. Sometime you’ll see players settle up to the ball, and as they are doing so the ball will fall off or be knocked off the tee. You can re-tee the ball without penalty.
What happens if a golfer runs out of balls?
If you happen to run out of balls, you can borrow one from any other player, including a practice or X-Out ball (which are generally conforming balls). If you play a wrong ball, you lose the hole in match play or get a two-stroke penalty in stroke play.
Does it count if the golf ball bounces out of the hole?
If your golfball bounces in and then out of the hole, it counts as one stroke of course. A ball is “holed” when it is at rest within the circumference of the hole and all of it is below the level of the lip of the hole. This makes it clear that the hole is not finished.
How long can you wait for a golf ball to drop in the hole?
