Dollar General store locations are company-owned, so you may not be able to get a franchise. But that does not say that you cannot lease a store. If you want to do so, you can visit their website and have a chat with them. The Dollar General Franchise stores have different pricing for their different store types.

When cheaper, Walmart was over 35% cheaper than Albertsons and over 15% cheaper than United. That’s pretty substantial. It is worth noting that, while you would’ve saved 15% on my random list by shopping at Walmart rather than United, you likely would have gotten more than 15% worse customer service.
Is WinCo cheaper than Walmart?

No, Winco does not accept credit cards. The company states on their website that they do not take credit cards due to the transaction rates associated with them. In other words, they choose to keep company costs lower by avoiding the paying fees associated with each swipe or chip insertion of a credit card.
