What does being wait listed at UCSD mean? UCSD has fewer spaces than there are qualified applicants, so the campus takes the top layer of qualified applicants they want and place the rest on waitlist. Keep in mind the waitlist process is set up to benefit the campus, not the students.
Is a waitlist a rejection?
Try to remember that being placed on the waitlist is not the same as receiving a rejection letter. You may still be accepted, though it may take time to determine where you stand. The reality of the modern college admissions process is that schools are waiting on students, too.

Is UCI a party school?
If you are looking for a party school, UCI is definately the wrong place for you. Students that like to party a lot or that like to procasinate should not come to UCI becuase it is really intense in academics. We have fun, but we care more for our studies.
Is UCSD boring?
UCSD is a boring school with no social life and the only way to actually have a social life is to go Greek. UCSD students are anti-social and only interested in studying.
