Does Color Oops actually work?
Color Oops should work reasonably well because it’s based on the principle of using a reducing agent to break down hair dye. However, the reducing agent it uses, hydrosulfite, converts to bisulfite and we know bisulfite can weaken the structure of hair. So there’s the risk of some damage.
Does Color Oops ruin your hair?
No color oops doesn’t damage hair at all. All it does is open the cuticle and bind to the dye and wash out with it. The only reason people feel that it damages hair is they forget that it will also strip the natural oils, restoring oils and creams, and any repair things you had on your hair.

Why did my hair go back dark after Color Oops?
If you haven’t completely rinsed out ALL of the dye residue, it will come back at least to an extent. I can’t speak for people who’ve gone lighter rather than darker, but I can say that my hair has gone back to dark since using the Color Oops. If you dye it the colour on the box, it will end up being much darker.

Likely nothing changed because the color was on your hair for too long, It had already been deposited into the hair strand and left for long enough that it wouldnt do much to remove it. The Best way to remove color is have a professional lift it with lightener. Color oops only works on certain types of hair.

After Colour Removing your Hair shaft is completely open, so it absorbs anything you put on your Hair. Once you have Colour Removed, only Tone your Hair if you are happy with the Colour level/Lightness and just want to eliminate the Warmth. We advise to wait 48 hours to let the Hair settle.

What happens if you put color oops on natural hair?
Color Oops can only remove artificial pigment. Color Oops cannot alter natural pigment. When highlights are put in, your natural pigment is actually removed. The only way to get your natural color back is to replace that lost natural pigment, and that can be achieved with a color similar to your natural color.
Does Color Oops work on black hair?
