No he’s not a bad guy, he’s a good guy. Hell, his class “Thaumaturge” means miracle worker basically, and that’s what he was doing in all the Destiny Odysseys. Golbez was never truly evil, just manipulated like Edea from FFVIII was. However he doesn’t use that as an excuse to not atone for his crimes though.
