To apply to the CSU, you should:
- Select a CSU campus to attend.
- Apply for admission during the priority filing period (October 1 – November 30) by filling out the CSU application at Cal State Apply.
- Research how you will pay for college.
Can I edit my Cal State application?

Are CSU applications open?
Beginning October 1, 2020, all 23 California State University (CSU) campuses will accept applications for admission to the fall 2021 term. Students interested in attending any CSU campus can apply online at the university’s application portal: Cal State Apply.

How long does it take to get an acceptance letter?
If you applied for early decision, you should be notified around December 15th. If you applied to colleges where there is rolling admission, it generally can take six to eight weeks to receive a decision. Often acceptance letters are sent out first, with rejection letters coming later on. After all, universities have a number in mind for the size of an incoming class.
What is the lowest GPA for UCLA?
You must have a 3.0 GPA (3.4 for non-residents) or higher and no grades lower than a C in required high school courses. You can also substitute SAT subject tests for courses. If you don’t meet the requirements, it is possible to gain admission with a high enough score on the ACT/SAT plus on two SAT subject tests.
Is it harder to get into UC Berkeley or UCLA?
It is harder to admit to UCLA than UC Berkeley. UC Berkeley has a higher submitted SAT score (1,415) than UCLA (1,415). UC Berkeley has higher submitted ACT score (32) than UCLA (32). UCLA has more students with 44,537 students while UC Berkeley has 42,501 students.
