How do you attach fur to a Fursuit?
To glue, peel the two pieces apart and run a zigzag bead of hot glue underneath the fur on to the foam, avoiding the two edges. Pull the two edges together and press them at the same time gently into the foam, avoiding getting any glue on the fur. To see a video of this technique, click here!
How much fur do you need for a Fursuit?
Depending on the type and style, I usually get 2 yards. one is usually more than enough, but depending on pattern, grain and fur style, it may take more. With different patterns of fur and the direction it lays, I’ve had to use two yards in order to find the right pattern and fur direction matching amongst the pieces.
