- Eyes on opponent.
- Focus on learning, not winning.
- Throw punches.
- Exhale with every punch.

- Focus on kicking using your front leg. Back leg kicking telegraphs too much and is ultimately slower.
- Learn to move diagonally towards your opponent to avoid their attack.
- Learn to use feints and combinations to setup point-scoring opportunities.
- Spar regularly.
What is full contact sparring?
Now, my question concerns the dangers of full contact sparring. Full contact sparring means you get hit in the head and just about everywhere else as hard as your opponent can manage (or something close to that), correct? Using Elbows, knees to the face and whatnot, you know, moves that can really mess you up.
