What can students do on Class Dojo?
Students create and upload photos, videos, drawings, and journal entries through ClassDojo, and can also upload Microsoft Office files, PDFs, and image files from any laptop. Teachers can also use Activities to assign projects directly to student devices to which students can respond.
Can parents post pictures on ClassDojo?
Starting today, parents can join the fun and share moments from home right through ClassDojo Messaging! Just make sure they’ve updated their ClassDojo app, and they’ll see a “camera” and “smiley face” icon in the message channel.

You can easily switch between a teacher and parent account on our iOS and Android apps using our Account Switcher feature. From the web, you will need to log out of your teacher account and sign back in as a parent. Once you delete your teacher account, you can use your email address to create a parent account here.

- Click “Redeem” under the student’s name.
- Enter the number of points you would like to redeem (you will be able to redeem up to the number of points the student currently has in their bubble) and add a note if you desire.

Dojo is a fantastic tool for elementary and early middle school, but I am not sure how well it works at the high school level. I teach 7th grade and sometimes their “I don’t care” attitudes make negative Dojo points less effective. ClassDojo is another great tool to add to your toolbox to help manage behavior.

- Tap on the monsters in the “Kids” tab at the bottom center of your account and select the child to whom you would like to award a point or select “All kids” to give a point to everyone.
