- Cut a two triangles from your paper (or one corner off of an envelope). Then cut two pieces of Duct Tape.
- Lay one piece of Duct Tape sticky side up on your work surface.
- Put the second piece of Duct Tape on the other side of the triangle.
- Cut off the excess tape.

Can you break through duct tape?
Remember that to break duct tape, you have to tear it at just the right angle. Trying to pull it apart by pulling your wrists away from each other simply won’t work. To break duct tape, you must raise your arms over your head as high as you can.

If an inmate has an opinion of at least 80, the player may recruit that inmate by pressing “Q” while near them to fight alongside the player and later dismiss them if needed (you need at least 90 opinion on console for inmates to be recruited). Recruiting inmates doesn’t work in The Escapists 2.

Wait for the entrance doors to lock. The 22:00 warning doesn’t mean anything as you won’t be sniped. Wait for 23:00 for the snipers to despawn before you start cutting.

Distraction. This favor is accomplished by targeting and hitting an inmate or guard during an assembly event, causing the guards to focus on chasing after you. Alternatively, you can take off your clothing briefly.

If you only have a small number of guards to distract, you can make it more personal. Pay a child (or do it yourself in disguise) to tell a guard that his wife got run over by a cart/son fell down a well/ dog ran away/etc. You can also pretend to be their replacement/superior officer relieving them of duty.

How do you make a crafting note in the escapists?
The Crafting Note is generally obtained by buying it from Inmates, but they can also be found:

- In an inmate’s inventory after beating them up.
