Reach under the rear fender and pull the turn signals’ wiring and connectors out of the tail lamp housing. Unscrew the nuts from the turn signal’s mounting studs on the bottom of the rear fender, using a socket wrench. Pull the turn signals and their wiring off of the rear fender’s frame rails.
How do you remove the front turn signal on a Harley?
Loosen the Allen head bolt located under the left or right handlebar switch pod, using a 1/4-inch Allen wrench. Pull the front turn signal ball post out from the bottom of the switch pod, then pull the turn signal wiring out from the motorcycle’s frame until the turn signal has been removed completely.
Why do turn signals have 3 wires?

Why does my turn signal work but not the light?
Make sure the bulb has both elements working correctly. Try them on the left side to make sure the bulb is good. If the bulb works on the left side but not the right then it’s time to start tracing the wire using a meter to check for power. Start at the socket and work your way backwards.
