Why is Edmentum bad?
The instruction and assignments it provides are developmentally inappropriate, assesses things it hasn’t taught, and are filled with grammatical and spelling errors. Moreover, the pace it prescribes violates the guidelines Edmentum gives to parents about how much time students should spend on-line.

What is exact path reading?
Edmentum Exact Path includes K-12 assessment-driven math, reading, and language arts instruction that is focused on understanding where your students are academically, identifying strengths and weaknesses for each student, and then taking that data a step further.
How do you earn a trophy on exact path?
After completing a Progress Check, your student can earn a Trophy for every skill he or she demonstrates mastery on. Additionally, any Challenges created by your student’s teacher(s) will also display. Challenges can be set to encourage working for a set amount of time or earning a set number of Trophies.
Can you finish exact path?
Keep in mind that the Exact Path diagnostic for one subject typically takes students in grades K–1 about 15–25 minutes to complete and, for grades 2 and up, about 30–60 minutes. Some students may need a little longer. Plan on allocating enough time so that students can complete the test in one or two sittings.
Does exact path have science?
Currently there is no specific Social Studies or Science subject in the Exact Path.

How do you set a diagnostic test in exact path?
To schedule a diagnostic test, click the desired subject at the top of the screen. You can schedule a diagnostic test in Mathematics, Reading, or Language Arts. Click SCHEDULING under Diagnostic Testing. To locate a student or group of students to schedule a test for, use the filtering options.
How many questions is the exact path diagnostic test?
We started with the actual time that Exact Path assessments require—our adaptive diagnostics are made to be smarter and adjust to appropriate lengths for the ages of your students: For your youngest learners in kindergarten and 1st grade, assessments are about 30 questions, requiring 15–25 minutes to complete.
