How is social media deceiving?
Manipulating content is presumably the most common way of deceiving others. In social media this can be achieved by falsifying information. Social media that focus primarily on content such as blogs, content communities, social news sites, and microblogging are highly susceptible to such deception.
How can I hide my social media?
To turn this off:

Why do we need privacy in social media?
Social media privacy helps individuals to mind their businesses without interference from the outside world. Privacy is also important because it reduces the amount of information we get concerning other people.
How social media affects privacy?
When that information gets posted online, it is no longer private, and may end up falling into wrong hands. Even if you have put in place the highest possible security measures, some of your friends, colleagues and companies you interact with on social media, can end up leaking your personal information.
Can I see who viewed my profile on medium?
To access your stats, click on you avatar in the top right corner and then choose “Stats” from the menu. You will see a graph showing the aggregate of views, reads, and recommendations on all of your stories for the last 30 days. Your individual story statistics are found below the graph.
Do you own your content on medium?
The biggest problem with making Medium your primary blog is that you don’t own your content. If Medium decides to turn off their site, delete your articles, or ban your blog, there’s nothing you can do. They can delete everything you’ve written and the audience you’ve built.

If your main site runs on WordPress, you can link it to your Medium account. When you do this, any blog post you publish on your site will automatically be republished on Medium.
