Can I sublimate on felt?
Sublimation printing transfers the ink directly into the felt fibers, and because it uses pigment based ink instead of dye based ink (which is water soluble) it tends to last well even after washing. A sublimation printer prints the pigment ink onto sublimation paper.
Can you sublimate onto wool?
The sublimation process transfers inks onto fabrics by bonding the dye with polymers in the transfer material. Polymers are an artificial part of different fabrics and materials, and are not present in natural fibers. Because of this, fabrics like cotton and wool cannot be sublimated onto.

What Cricut mat should I use for Felt?
When cutting felt with the Cricut Explore or using the fine point/ bonded fabric blade settings, the pink fabric mat can be used but it isn’t necessary. I would stay away from the light grip mat, but the regular green mat or the purple strong grip mat should work well.
