Is B1 German enough?
The German government thinks B1 to be enough to get along well enough with the Germans in case you are looking for citizenship status. They say understanding 2,700 words is enough. Download the official list of required vocab for German level B1 here.
Is C1 German fluent?
Being able to go to an interview, deliver it in German, and do any tests / assessment etc in German you are asked to do. I’d say that’s “fluent” enough. C1 is pretty much there – it’s about being able to handle most topics you come across confidently.
Is B1 fluent?
There is a level test in all the languages to know what is your level in this language, there are A1,A2,B1,B2,C1,C2, A1 is a beginner level or basic level, A2 is a higher beginner level, B1 is to be something fluent/semi-fluent in this languages, B2 is a fluent level and it is used with teachers in schools as I think.
Is fluent better than advanced?
Advanced means highly developed, complex; also, being of a higher level than others. Fluent means that you are able to express yourself effortlessly and readily in all language situations; your English is always smooth and flowing.
Is fluent more than intermediate?
Most of us heard about such levels as Beginner, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate, Advanced. As I understand “Fluent” is the highest level when describing someone’s English. And if a native speaker can quickly (matter of seconds, or a minute) understand that your are a foreigner – you don’t have a fluent level.
