Is Mario vs Donkey Kong canon?
The Mario/DK/Yoshi series are assumed to occur in the same universe. Cranky Kong was the first Donkey Kong and the current DK is generally assumed to be DK Jr. Putting a serious “canon” together out of the series except for that is almost impossible.
