How much are we in control of our lives?
Thus, most of the time, we have 60–70% control on our lives. But sometimes we loose some of it because of Human nature. Homo sapiens don’t always choose perfect things. It’s the natural defect that is caused by our brain as well as heart.
What can you not control in your life?
You cannot control their actions, reactions, thoughts, feelings, beliefs, etc. And to put this into perspective, you are also not RESPONSIBLE for other people’s actions, reactions, thoughts, feelings, beliefs, etc (excluding your non-adult children). We don’t usually try to control people on purpose.
Who decides your fate?
I believe we are in full control of our choices and that our actions, in response to what fate offers us, matter. We are here to learn lessons and the hard decisions we have to make are what helps us grow as humans.
Is your life predestined by God?
It is God’s will that everyone would accept His gift of salvation, but He also knows who will and who won’t. God has predestined His “plan” for salvation through Jesus Christ for those who choose to accept it. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live (Deuteronomy 30:19).
Does God decide your destiny?
The concept gives control over to God, or whatever supreme being the person worships. Some Christians believe that God has predetermined our path and that we are just tokens in his plan. However, other Bible verses remind us that God may know the plans He has for us, but we do have some control over our own direction.

You have all the power to change your destiny because the God in you is the only God for you, and above all God in you is the only God which has created every creation in this universe.

Is everything written by God?
For God to have written our destiny, at first glance, suggests that everything has been predetermined and we have no freewill, There is the book of life and the book that contains the plan of God. It was destined to happen. It goes with almost everything that happens in your life. Your mind works that particular way,and you make decisions based on what your destiny wants to do with you. There would be no meaning in living a life if destiny (and life) is already fixed by initial data points (during birth).

Everything isn’t already decided for us. It can change, therefore if you don’t do anything, you are only making and changing your future into something worse.
Is time of death predestined?
Amongst Buddhists the cycle of death and rebirth is clearly defined and among Tibetan Bhuddists, not just the time of death but the time of rebirth is known. In fact, the latter and many signs associated with it determines the reincarnated successor of the Dalai Lama, the Panchen Lama and other lamas in the hierarchy.
Are life events predestined?
While the Bible doesn’t specifically say events are predestined, it affirms that God “works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will” (Ephesians 1:11). In other words, the events of history play out according to God’s plan.

Why do they say marriages are made in heaven?
When two unknown people, whether from the same or from different cultural background decide to hold each other’s hand and share their future as a husband and wife, they come together because of God. Such relationships are made by God and that’s why I think they say that marriages are made in heaven.
