Filling through the factory fill hole: Fill the unit keeping track of the amount of fluid going into it. If it backs up and looks full, install the fill plug and wait 10 minutes. Pull the fill plug back out a repeat until you are sure you have almost one full quart of oil in the T-Case!

How do you check the transmission fluid on a Evo 8?
To check too much fluid you remove the FILL plug, with the car level, and after 5 min if it no longer drips fluid out then its sufficient. If you think it is too low, fill more fluid and repeat last step. If you cannot jackup the car, sell it and buy an idiot car.
